Conference: Fueling the Energy Transition with Nuclear

This conference will provide a detailed look at how the nuclear energy industry can lead the world’s transition to net zero by harnessing recent advances in nuclear technologies.

Sustainable and clean energy is the future – for industry, for the environment, and for society. It is high on the global agenda and essential to meeting the world’s energy transition efforts.

However, continued expansion of renewables is only one piece of the puzzle. It is becoming obvious that reaching net zero by 2050 is only possible by harnessing all the best and most affordable advanced nuclear technologies.

The rush to end reliance on imported fossil fuels and the need for more resilient energy systems and balanced energy mix is an opportunity for nuclear power.

To explore these topics in detail the conference will offer four panel sessions:
  • Harnessing Advanced Nuclear Technologies to Accelerate the Energy Transition
  • The Future of Central Europe’s Energy Mix
  • Enhancing Grid Stability by Keeping the Balance
  • The Nuclear Option for South East Europe

Pre-conference drinks reception will be held on the evening of Monday 19 June at the Budapest Marriott Hotel. Please register here if you would like to attend.
